RANKRFree app rank trackers compared
To track where your app ranks in other countries for free, use a phone app such as Toplify (App Store only, free while your app ranks in fewer than 4 countries) or Rankr (App Store and Google Play, 2 apps free), neither of which needs an account. Appfigures and AppFollow are web dashboards that need an account: AppFollow's free plan includes category rankings with 7 days of history, while Appfigures puts its hourly category ranks on paid plans. Apple's own web charts are free to view but show one country's chart at a time.

Which one fits?
- You only ship on the App Store and your app ranks in a few countries: Toplify's free tier covers you until your app ranks in 4 countries.
- You ship on both stores and want it on your phone: Rankr tracks both stores in one list, without an account.
- You also need keyword rankings, downloads or revenue: Appfigures and AppFollow are full analytics dashboards. Appfigures puts rank alerts and keyword tracking on paid plans; AppFollow's free plan covers 2 apps with 7 days of history.
- You just want to look at one country today: Apple's web charts (choose the country on the page), or rankrapp.com's chart pages for 30 countries with each app's change since yesterday on both stores.
Chart rank or keyword rank?
A chart rank is your place in a store's top list, such as #12 in Top Free Productivity in Japan. A keyword rank is where your app shows up when someone searches a word in the store. They're different numbers, and tools differ here: Toplify and Rankr track chart ranks only, while Appfigures and AppFollow track both. See how App Store top charts work for what the charts measure.
How we checked
Every fact about another tool comes from that tool's own website, pricing page, help center or App Store listing, read on October 25, 2026, with US prices. Where a tool's own pages disagree, we say so (Toplify's website and App Store listing show different plans). The Apple column is what we counted on apps.apple.com that day; Apple doesn't state these numbers. Prices and plans change, so check the tool's own page before you pay. Something out of date? Questions
Is there a free app to track my app's rank in other countries?
Yes. Toplify (App Store only) is free while your app ranks in fewer than 4 countries, and Rankr's free plan tracks 2 apps in their top 5 countries on the App Store and Google Play. Neither needs an account.
Can I see other countries' App Store top charts without installing anything?
Yes. Apple's web charts on apps.apple.com show each country's Top Free and Top Paid charts, and rankrapp.com/charts/ shows 30 countries for both stores with changes since yesterday. Neither follows one app across countries; for that you need a tracker.
Which rank trackers cover Google Play?
Rankr, Appfigures and AppFollow track Google Play as well as the App Store. Toplify and Apple's web charts are App Store only.
Do these tools track keyword rankings?
Appfigures (from its Monitor plan) and AppFollow track keyword positions. Toplify and Rankr track top-chart ranks only.
